Hi all... I am very new to yabb. I have been trying for hours to get a template working for my fourm. I read through this fourm and someone else asked this question.... and someone replied with this...........

now goto your admin section -> Edit Your Forum Template. The replace the code in there by the new template code you got from this page here. Then just save it and you're done

Maybe im just slow but that wasnt enough detailed for me. Admin section? as in the yabb directory under the source folder there is a file called admin.pl?? is that it>?? or is it the adminedit.pl?? IF so do i just paste all the code in that file?? sorry for posting so much.... hope someone can be more clear. thnx

1. Open IE/Netscape/Opera/whatever
2. Surf to your board
3. Log in As Admin
4. Go to Admin Center by clicking 'Admin' in the menu
5. Click 'Edit Your Template'
6. Copy the code you find in these templates to the clipboard
7. Delete the contents of the big box with text in.
8. Paste the contents of the clipboard in the box.
9. Click Save/Submit/the button underneath the box
10. Check if it worked.
11. If you are admin/mod, sticky this topic so that others which need help don't need to bother you Grin

yeah, make a new template.html file on your hard disk, then paste the template code into that -> upload new template file

Code
Select All
unless(0) { stab("LoonyPandora"); next; }
