problem putting Java Buttons in Template

Hello all

Please forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong area, but this kinda covers several topics..

I sure hope someone can help me, here is my problem.  I am trying to place a Java Button Menu in the template, but I am not sure where to put the Applet file itself.  I have tried it in every folder in the cgi-bin and it just does not work.  Tried it outsite the cgi-bin in a .html file and it works fine.  I even chmod the files to 777 with still no luck.  Can applets even be run in the cgi-bin?  Or called from outside it, because I tried that too and it didn't work.  These buttons are generated by a program called Riada Button, and normally the 4 files that it generates are supposed to be in the same directory as the .html file that is calling it.  I had assumed that if I placed them with the template.html file they would work..

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

Gandalf
