How to remove /disable/hide chat Mod

i need to remove this facility. It's killing my CPU resources & slowing up my entire site (big site).

Please how do I hide this from my users or disable it or remove it? I have asked before but no solution wa given. I cannot believe anyone would create a mod that wasn't easily reversed if not required!

Just use BoardMod and uninstall it. Also, the Gold Release version used to have an on/off option in the Forum Preferences, I think. I dunno about the SP1 version, tho.
