	For Gold & SP1 - Would it be possible to make a mod that would mute new members until additional information can be gathered from them? One of the modders here gave me a little bit of code to add it to the registration form - it works to a point - all the member has to do is uncheck the mute box.

	There is a mute user mod already out but it is so Admin's can mute a user. Maybe look at that and use some of the code. You could found out how the checkbox works and add that to your profile.pl. 8)

	I use the mute.mod however, my problem is mainly with spammers who register then spam the baord. If I could mute them by default I wouldn't have to watch the board as much as I do now. The reason I asked for a mod is becasue I don't know enough about perl to be messing around with the coding.

	If you mute a new user til you un-mute them why not user Advanced Registration Options. See mod for details. Should be what you want. 8)
