Ya know, Canada's got the best defensive plan ever..... just stay quiet for years. I bet someday they're just gonna surprise everyone and WHAMMO, take over some country like Turkey or something outta the blue, and everybody'll be like "what the hell?? Canada?" .... 'Should we do something?' ... "Nah, let 'em have it."

Hehe. No, seriously, that's cool man. I honestly had never really thought about one of the most peaceful countries in the world having an army. Dont know why, since pretty much every country has one, but I just hadnt thought of it. Infantry takes some serious guts, too.

:s02:  I managed to get this album installed (pulled most of my hair out) now if I could get the photos I uploaded to show!

The config file setup for this album is like nothing I've ever seen - I only manged to get it loaded by doing the complete opposite of what I've always done to do an install.

But, I'll keep plugging away!

BTW - On the upload page you are given the option to register and when you click on the link it gives you a link with your server name + ubb.cgi - despite user authorization #3 in the config file for YaBB

Just finalized my web album using this script.  So far no problems on viewing, yet I haven't tried to upload thru it.  All other features work great!  My host is on Win NT.

One problem I had with thumbnail setting in config was that I had to rid the ".." in front of the ../images/thmb_photo.gif for it to find the correct path to these gifs.

Also, doesn't seem to want to work with my Yabb username and password possibly because of the encryption mod I added.  Any suggestions on getting this to work?

Hear me now, believe me later. I figured out the password mod integration! It was actually really easy. Simply add the following 2 lines to the YaBB Authentication section of album.pl

$pwseed ||= 'ya';
$password=crypt($password,$pwseed); 

So it looks like this:

Thanks to Mike for creating this "pain in the ASS" gallery  I hope this allows more people to use it on their sites.
